The Flames won 7-4, as the bats came alive in a big way
with hits from Adam McMahon, Bryce Mendenhall,
Mike Nelson and Dominic Langham. Sunday saw the Flames
play at Tiger Stadium against the Brentwood Blast.

The Folsom Flames 14-and-under baseball team ended its 2013 season in fine fashion by winning the Summer Kickoff Tournament hosted by the California International Baseball (CIB) Academy at the Mather Sports Complex held June 22-23.
The Flames battled teams from Chico, the CIB Academy-Blue as well as the Folsom American Little League Junior All Stars. The Flames finished off pool play Saturday with a 7-0 victory over Chico and a 6-2 loss to the Academy. That record was good enough to earn the Flames a number-two seed for Sunday bracket play and a rematch against Chico. The Flames won that game 11-6 to earn themselves a championship berth against the Academy. The Flames won the championship game 11-9.
