With two outs in the sixth, Chase Madeirous snagged a line drive at third to end a Giants rally. Michael Nelson, Jr. was the pitching star for the Giants,striking out six in two innings of work.

After two extra innings, the Dodgers finally prevailed in a thriller at Chaney Field. Thomas Higgings, Tyler Ewing and Anthony Schatz all had big hits for the winners, and Michael Everton closed it out with two hitless innings in relief. The Giants were led by Michael Nelson's two-run triple.

Cardinal Seppi Ortman went five-for-five for the second time this season and pitched two shutout innings to close the game. Teammate David Severet got three hits, scored three runs and made a diving catch at third with the bases loaded. For the Giants, Michael Nelson had three hits and opened the game by throwing a 10-pitch shutout inning.

Elliot May ushered in his favorite month with a homerun over the left field fence to power the Angels to victory. The Halos got great pitching from Brian Merken, Jules O’Donnell, Mitchell Smith and Ryan Regan, while Michael Green, Will Rembac, Connor Ogro and Chase Maderious contributed with the gloves. For the Giants, Michael Nelsen pitched two shutout innings, and Cameron Price banged out two hits.

The Dodgers bats remained hot in their victory at Cheney Field. Tyler Ewing and Michael Everton both had multi-hit games for the winners, and Dexter Varrelmann scored 3 times. On the mound, Ewing struck out the side in his inning of work. The Giants got two solid innings from Michael Nelson, who struck out four.
